Wow. It's Tuesday night, and things just keep getting stranger and stranger. I'm gonna try to be pretty honest in this post and include lots of stuff, but it may disappear later. = )
So the last time I updated was saturday night/sunday morning and I had just gotten back from my first night working at Curve.
Sunday I got up at 9:30 (can't sleep later) and I had pancakes for breakfast, then I went down to do laundry. Later I went to the beach to study with Alex, we sat in the lovely sun. It wasn't very warm cuz of hte wind, but it was so nice to be outside! and by the water and in the sun. oh man it was nice. we chatted a bit too and had fun. and went to dinner. pretty normal day. oh yeah, and anne went out to coffee with shaun from work who had been texting her.
after dinner i got a text from rahul and we went and got coffee, which was really nice and chill. kind of random and out of the blue though, i must say. he's a super cool guy. really nice and all that good stuff. he's in a hostel with a bunch of 18 year olds, but he hasn't really found any other people to hang out with, so i figure i'll text him and he can come hang out with us some.
went to bed after that.
monday i went up to campus and was fairly productive all day, anne turned in her big essay and i was having strange conversations online, so we decided to just go have a drink at murphys. i eventually texted rahul who came and brought one of the guys from his hostel who is, unfortunately, really annoying.
i suppose at some point i should mention that i have a bit of a crush on my boss at work. it's possibly a bad idea, but i think he's adorable and stuff, but i'm pretty sure he's got no interest in me. yeah.
we ended up having 4 drinks and chillin. it was quite nice.
today, tuesday
i went up to campus and got work done, got a small piece of paper from chris gibbons that said "i cracked the code". very confusing. came down and had a crepe and chinese food and then got a call from boss and went over to curve to get paid!
we got $70 cash!!! it was awesome! and i acted like a complete idiot. i think my brain was like "oooh, she likes a boy, i'd better go on vacation for a bit" gah! so that was bad. then we were hanging out at home and i was chatting with mark (friend in auckland) and i got a text from jesse. hmmm....my information about thursday night doesn't seem to be quite complete. I met a guy at curve that night too named jesse who got my number and texted me that night and friday night. hadn't heard from him since then, but tonight i got a text asking if i wanna grab a drink sometime this week. i said i would, but i suck at texting, i sound like 12 year old in my texts. yeah. and i'm scared to death of boys.
i feel the need to write a bit about that. i'm scared because i dont know what to do with myself around them. i can hang out and flirt and all that good stuff, but yeah. like, i met a guy in a bar. if he calls me, we go get a drink. is he expecting something of me? is a guy like that even interested in actually dating me? or getting to know me? man i question motives way too much, eh? but in that mindset, i'm freaked out about going out with someone like jesse. i thought he was pretty cute, but i've only seen him at the bar, and i'm not sure i trust the judgement there totally. maybe he'll come by on friday, when i work next, and chat. we'll see though. so scared of boys! oye!
i'm in one of those weird moods where i'm tempted to go through everyone i know here and put a teeny bit of info bout each person so that i can just talk about them and not feel like i'm just spurting out names that nobody knows. yup, think i'll group em by where met...

hey that was the most enlightening post yet! you forgot to mention foo, though.
and.... you said "then we went to bed" after you explained your coffee with the indian fellow.... could be a bit misleading, or is that just in my rubbish filled brain?

And you also forgot to mention my family. I am unimpressed and will soon patrol your window again as I did earlier in August. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Blhrrrrrrrrrrrr
