Howdy chowdy!
I had my first day of work yesterday. Most o fit was being shown the various computers that I might work at, plus how to get around, and where some of the people i may need to talk to are. Then we sat down at the computer and he showed me where stuff is, what programs I'd be using, and then we started talking about CADS and I filled in a form to get access to alumni address and gift (financial) information. Then I spent the rest of the time exploring what little I could access to learn as much as i could about cads. Quite exciting, except really kinda boring. So now I don't know if I'm working Wednesday or not. It's kind of touch and go until my background check comes back, and the CADS thing comes back. Oh well....I guess I made about 24 bucks. = )
Now I'm off to bio lab, i think today's lab is relatively boring, it's looking at the results of the experiments in the last two labs. So we can see what yeast grew, which DNA grew in which color on which plate. And then we get to count flies! Yay genetics!
Then of course, comes the lovely 30 min. lunch break. Unfortunately I have no lunch stuff here, so I'm gonna have to buy lunch on campus. Oh well.
Then lecture. I think our new lecturer begins today.
Then I have a one hour break where I usually crash on memorial glade and take a nap. Either that or I head over to Dwinelle Plaza and do homework on the benches.
Straight from there it's off to human rights lecture which is absolutely boring, but we have a guest speaker, so perhaps it will be better today
Then I have about half an hour to get home, have some dinner then back to symphony. I'm looking forward to symphony though. It's more relaxing and I enjoy playing. Even if rehearsal seems like it's 12 hours long.
Anyways
None of the other days of the week are as hectic as this one. Luckily, after today I only have to make it through three more days like this. Woo!!!! = )
Aite,
I'm off to lab
